Ang ika-labing isang Senador

Isinulat ko ito noong ika-labing siyam ng Hunyo, labing tatlong araw matapos iproklama ang unang sampung Senador noong nakaraang taon.

Nang isulat ko ang unang sampung Senador na naiproklama ng COMELEC, inabangan ko talaga kung papasok si Ginoong Trillianes sa hihiranging mga Senador, at hidi nabalewala ang aking paghihintay dahil:

At last, the 11th senator was proclaimed (date: forgotten). It was Senator-elect Antonio Trillanes IV (aka Lt. Sr. Grd. Antonio Trillanes IV), one of the members who planned (?) the Oakwood Mutiny years ago.

Many will ssay that, they think he didn't deserve the place and he will not do anything because it's his first-time, doesn;t have any experience in politics. I am so much glad when ComElec proclaimed him as the 11th senator, I don't know why.

Let's go back with his knowledge in politics. For me, the experienced of being a soldier is enough for him to know what's happening in and outside the camp. The right and wrong policies of the kings and queen. Though I know that we're all not clean in the sense of being clean to ourselves, but I believe that if you really want to serve to the Filipinos and you have proved them that you are worth for that said position, then you deserve to be elected.

"Hindi naman porket sundalo si Magdalo wala nang siyang magagawa para sa taung bayan at kanyang bayan, buti nga mabibigyan ng espasyo sa senado ang mga hinaing ng mga sundalo ng ating bansa, na siyang nagbubuwis ng kanilang buhay makapagsilbi lamang sa bayan (sana nga lahat, sa bayan nagsisilbi, hindi sa nagpapatakbo ng bayan)."

He planned to fight corruption, minimize poverty, improve the peace & order situation, and improve education, health, and social services, I hope he can prove/make this to/for us. But take a look again, to all of the senatorsiables who ran last election, they have almost the same plans if they will be elected, they want to fight corruption etc., I hope that this will be implied.

"Sana maging totoo sa mga sarili nila ang mga na-elect na tauhan ng bayan, sana maging malinis ang lahat, sana naman magsilbi sila sa bayan at hindi sa nagpapatakbo ng bayan."
